Transition isn’t the obstacle — it’s the opportunity
You’re in the right place if you’re in a transition and want clarity and steady support. I help people move through change with confidence and direction.
From Darkness to Light
I didn’t take the traditional path — and I’m grateful for that. I became a father at 19. While most people my age were still figuring out who they were, I was learning how to show up for someone else. That moment cracked my life wide open — and it was just the beginning of a series of transitions that would shape me into the person I am today.
Over the years, I’ve lived through deep love, devastating loss, career highs, personal rock bottoms, and more reinventions than I can count. I put myself through college. I overcame addiction. I survived the death of my first son — an experience that shattered me and slowly taught me how to rebuild. I faced unemployment and built a business from the ground up. I co-parent in a nontraditional family dynamic and pour everything I have into being a present, steady father.
Today, I’m a senior leader at Amazon, where I support people through growth, change, and big career decisions every day. Over the years, I’ve helped many individuals get promoted, step into new roles, or transition into entirely new career paths. What I’ve come to realize is that the part of my job I love most is the coaching — being there for the moments when someone feels stuck, uncertain, or ready for something more, and helping them move forward with clarity and confidence.
Turn the Light Coaching was born from that passion — to offer this kind of support beyond my day job and help more people navigate life’s turning points with steady guidance and real momentum.
I work with people in the middle of a transition — or sensing that one is coming — even if they can't name exactly what it is yet.
What I Truly Believe for You
Transitions are a natural — and necessary — part of life. They show up when something no longer fits, when life changes without your permission, or when something new is calling you forward. Even the painful ones are invitations: to pause, get honest, let go, and begin imagining what’s next.
Real change doesn’t have to be dramatic — it just has to be true to you. You don’t need a fix or a formula. You need space to slow down, reconnect with what matters, and listen to what’s already inside. You already hold the answers. My job is to help you hear them clearly.
I’ve walked through the dark — felt the fear, disorientation, and loneliness. And I’ve also felt the power of what happens when someone turns on the light *with* you. With a blend of lived experience and leadership, I’ve navigated deep personal shifts while mentoring others through theirs. I bring both to our work.
Coaching with me isn’t about performance — it’s about honest support, real conversations, and clear direction. When you’re seen, supported, and steady, you move forward with more clarity, confidence, and ease.
Let’s build a life that actually fits.
You’re in the Right Place If…
You’re in the midst of a transition — or sensing one is coming — even if you can’t quite name it yet.
Something in your life — a job, a relationship, your identity, or simply the way you’ve been moving through the world — no longer fits.
You’re smart, capable, and often seen as the strong one. And in many ways, you are. But inside, you’re tired of holding it all together. Tired of pretending it’s fine. Tired of navigating this alone.
You’ve tried to figure it out on your own: journaling, reading, pro/con lists, deep reflection, overthinking it to death. You’ve tried staying busy. Tried slowing down. Tried distracting yourself. Still, you feel like you’re circling the same questions.
You don’t need fixing — but something needs to shift.
Maybe you’ve outgrown parts of your life.
Maybe something ended — a role, a relationship, a season, a version of you.
Maybe you’re just waking up to the quiet truth that the life you’ve built no longer reflects who you really are.
You want change — but not just for change’s sake
You want clarity. Direction. Support that actually sees you.
Not performative positivity. Not surface-level advice. Not pressure to “figure it out” faster.
You want partnership. Real support — grounded, honest, built on trust.
You’re not looking for someone to tell you what to do.
You’re looking for someone to walk beside you — to hold space for the questions, the grief, the fear, and the possibility — and help you reconnect to your own wisdom.
You’ve been showing up. Doing the work. Reflecting.
Now, you’re ready for deeper insight — and meaningful forward motion.
You want to feel steady, intentional, and aligned — to stop spinning and start living a life that feels like yours again.
If you’re carrying quiet restlessness, uncertainty, grief, or the sense that something needs to change…
You don’t have to hold it alone.
This is the work we do — together.
Because I’ve been where you are
I don’t coach from theory — I coach from experience. I’ve navigated loss, divorce, addiction, reinvention, fatherhood, career change, and starting over more than once. I get it, because I’ve lived it.
You won’t be just another client
You’ll get real, personalized support. Coaching with me is one-on-one, rooted in trust, and tailored to your unique path — not a cookie-cutter program.
I meet you where you’re at
Whether you’re overwhelmed, stuck, grieving, or simply craving more meaning — I’ll meet you there, without judgment, and help you take the next right step.
I balance heart and strategy
I’ll help you unpack the emotional weight of transition and create a plan to move forward. This is about clarity, but it’s also about healing.
I’ve led at the highest levels
With over 20 years in leadership — including time as a senior leader at Amazon — I know what it means to carry big responsibilities while trying to stay connected to yourself.
You’ll feel seen and supported
This is a space where you can bring your whole self. No performance. No fixing. Just honest, powerful forward movement — together.
You’ll leave with more than just insight
You’ll leave with tools, language, structure, and momentum you can actually use in your day-to-day life — long after our sessions end.

- Practical tools that cut through the noise and help them take action — not just spin in their thoughts
- A renewed connection to their values, goals, and identity — and the ability to make decisions that reflect that
- A steady rhythm of progress — with structure and accountability that fits real life
